Next week we are having a student-led conference. Our Whanau are coming into school and we will be showing some learning that we have done this year.

Being At The Right Place At The Right Time

This week's value is being on time it's important to be on time because if you are not on time for work then the people who come to eat food at you're shop will get hungry and then they will leave and then you won't get money and the people won't get food. If you are on time to you're job then you'll get money and the people will get food and then it will be a win-win for everyone and then people will want to come to your shop more so then you'll get more money.

REFLECTION: I think I am good at being on time.

QUESTION: would you rather be late and have no money or would you rather be early and then you're .people will have food and you'll have money.

Among Us

 When I had finished all of my work, I had some free time, so I created this Among Us slide. 

Having Fun And Celebrating Others

In the playground, I have fun by playing with my friends and we play tag and the flour is lava and we also play zombie tag. Out on the basketball court, me and Marsali and Ema-Leigh, and Olivia have fun by ridding on our scooters and skateboards around and do fun tricks.

In the Holidays me and my family celebrated my little cousins birthday and there was a yummy cake and there was also a pinata and the whole floor was covered in balloons and sticking up on the wall was a big dinosaur balloon it was a dinosaur themed birthday and all of his presents were dinosaur-related. I think he was turning  3 or 4 or 5 he was really happy. his name is Nixon.

Community Check

 

A community is where people live in the same area and they are close to the same things and you don't have to live down the same street you just have to live in the same type of place.

Thriving communities have active members each with roles and responsibilities.

Active means moving around jumping around and running around jogging around

Responsibility means for example if you have a pet you have responsibilities because you have to feed it give it the drink that it needs to have and there's a certain food that you can give it.

Members are like friends and whanau and people who you work with or people who you go to school with.

On Tuesday we have been learning  to plan our  goals to achieve in term two.

Have you reached your goal yet?

in reading my goal is to I want to try to get to silver in my reading level so then I can learn more and get into a higher group by the end of half of term 2.

in writing to know where my full stops and speech marks and commas go by the end of half of term two.

in math knowing my  5x and 10x tables so then  I can get better at math and move up to a higher level by the end of half of term two.

in other Learning how to ride a skateboard by leaning on my skateboard and learning how to do a little bit of some tricks like trying to do a little jump on my skateboard and then riding my skateboard and swinging around on the pole and letting my skateboard go a little bit flying by the end of half of term two.

Water fun day

Water fun day

 

 On the water fun day, we did rotations  and there was lining up  in lines of  seven.  Each line would get given a  plastic  cup and  we would each have a little  container in front of us. There was a big container near us and we had to scoop the cup up with water   and  put it in our  containers. The first container that was filled with water would win and then at the end  Hamish and  Deegan splashed  us with water. We went swimming  and then Miss Raisin  bought  a  floaty   beach ball net in the pool and a beach ball.  Then we got out and then we  had a  talk about the rules about the water fight  and then we had a  water fight. I got squirted a couple of times and then Deegan went  up behind  Miss Waho and  got a bucket of water  and splashed her and her mohawk went sideways.
